The Touch Point Oscillating Ceramic Heaters that were imported by Meijer Inc. have been involved in a recall after it was found that they pose a fire hazard.
The heaters were sold from October 2009 to April 2011 at Meijer stores and other discount stores in Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan.
The recall occurred after two fire incidents were reported, but no injuries have been reported at this time. It was found that the mechanism that allows it to oscillate could possibly short and cause a fire.
