Toy manufacturer, Build-A-Bear, along with the U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission have announced the recall of 290,000 ‘Colorful Hearts Teddy’ bears.
The recall was issued after it was discovered that the buttons used as eye balls on the bear may become lose and be a choking hazard for young children. The fabric on the bear is covered with large, multi-colored hearts. There have been no injuries associated with the bear at this time, but consumers are urged to return the bear to Build-A-Bear stores to receive a new one.
