A collision in northern Champaign that left two people injured may result in a drunk driving charge for the 27-year-old man at fault for the incident.
According to police and witnesses to the accident, the collision occurred at 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of Bradley Avenue and Willis Avenue when the man allegedly ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle driven by a woman.
Police closed the intersection for investigation for nearly four hours. They have stated that the driver will be charged with driving under the influence as well as improper lane usage, operating an uninsured vehicle, reckless driving, and disobeying a stop sign.
