Drunken driving charges were recently filed against a motorcyclist involved in a fatal accident in Momence, The Daily Journal reported on August 4.
According to reports, motorcycle operator Michael Miller, 34, struck another motorcycle from behind on Illinois Route 114. Miller’s passenger Gloria York, 43, died in the accident. Miller and the other motorcycle driver were brought to the hospital due to injuries they sustained from the crash. When it was discovered that Miller had been driving under the influence, he was charged with a DUI and the failure to avoid a crash. Police authorities continue to investigate this incident.
