A collision that occurred earlier this month in Vermilion County resulted in the death of a Westville woman. She was initially transported to the critical-care unit at Carle Foundation Hospital at the beginning of the month and unfortunately passed away over the weekend. She was involved in the crash as a passenger in a vehicle that was hit head-on when another vehicle turned directly into the path that her vehicle was traveling. The crash occurred in Tilton near the intersection of South Gate Drive and Georgetown Road.
