The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced that they will be using state-specific Twitter accounts to spread the word about defective food recalls.
As of now, the department uses press releases and a general Twitter account to announce the recalls of defective food products, but with state-specific accounts, consumers will be able to know exactly what recalls will affect them.
The recall will include defective meat, poultry and egg products that are were distributed to specific areas. The Twitter will also feature information about how to keep food fresh during severe weather.
If you or a loved one has become ill after consuming a defective consumer good, you need representation on your side. Contact the Danville food product recall lawyers of Spiros Law, P.C., by calling (217) 443-4343.
