Reports said a westbound school bus containing five people on Sauget Business Boulevard veered off the road and landed in a ditch. Though the school bus did not roll over, its two front wheels reportedly flew off as a result of the impact. The two children inside the bus, age 11 and 12, were rushed to the hospital. The two school aides on board and the driver were also treated for their injuries. All five individuals are expected to make a full recovery.Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
