One woman was killed in an Illinois rollover car accident on Saturday. The 25-year-old victim was from San Jose and was the only person in the vehicle when the accident occurred.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident occurred on U.S. 136 when the woman was driving east and lost control of her vehicle as it ran off the side of the road and into a gravel patch.
She then over-corrected to return to the roadway, but this caused her car to flip and roll over multiple times. The woman died as the result of the injuries sustained in the accident.
Our condolences are with the friends and family of the victim.
