A truck driver from Iowa was ticketed after a truck accident occurred on Illinois 57.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident occurred Wednesday morning when the truck driver was pulling a trailer down Interstate 57 and he somehow became distracted by a drink that was in his car.
This caused his truck to veer off the side of the road and he overcorrected in an attempt to get back on the roadway. He then lost control, flipped over and blocked all lanes of traffic. The 42-year-old truck driver was cited for improper lane usage as a result.
