A man was recently listed in critical condition at a hospital in Chicago after he got involved in a workplace accident, a September 24 article of Chicago Tribune stated.
Information coming from police officer Kevin Quaid, at around 4:20 p.m., rescuers were called after an accident took place in the apartment construction site in the 700 block of Hudson Street in River North. The victim identified as a 34-year-old man sustained serious injuries to his left arm with an elevator shaft while working in the 25-story apartment construction. The man was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and reports confirmed that a portion of his left arm was amputated after the accident.
