A pedestrian who was crossing the middle of East Main Street, between Hazel and Vermilion Streets in Danville was struck and killed by an automobile. The incident occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. Monday, July 25th. The Vermilion County Coroner, Jane McFadden reported that the victim was a 58-year-old Westville man. The Vermilion County Coroner’s office and the Danville Police Department continue to investigate.
