A 16-year-old girl and her 13-year-old brother from Fairbury were killed in a car accident while their family was on vacation in Oklahoma.
The accident occurred when the driver of the motor home the family was riding in, ran off the Cherokee Turnpike, near Tulsa for unknown reasons. After the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, it struck four concrete pillars.
The driver had to be freed from the vehicle by emergency crews and he and his wife were transported to the hospital along with two other passengers. The two teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene at 5:35 p.m.
